• What should we definitely visit if we only have a few hours in Mechelen?

• Is the station far from the centre and how do I get to the Grote Markt?

  Central Station is a 12-minute walk from the city centre. You could also take city bus lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 in the direction of the Grote Markt from platform 1.

  If you leave from the Haverwerf you can take a boat trip through the city centre.

  Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from 01/04 to 31/10 there is a multilingual historical walk Three Generations of Burgundians that departs from the Toerismehuis. During the Easter holiday, in July and in August this walk is can be done daily.
