It's handy to know if you are coming to Mechelen by coach that there is one place to (dis)embark in the city centre. It is on Veemarkt. You can drive to it along Keizerstraat, let your passengers disembark on Veemarkt and drive out of the city again via Biest and Frederik de Merodestraat. In principle the coach can wait on Veemarkt for fifteen minutes.

There is a free coach park on Douaneplein.

Attention! A large part of the Mechelen is a part of a restricted traffic zone and therefore not accessible for buses during the daytime.
